Life-affirming, awe-inspiring work that aims to uphold the basic human rights of equality and freedom of expression. THE WHAT WORKS is an international theatre company working in India, Bangladesh and the UK. They make work with, about, and for women and girls, and specialise in multi-lingual theatre.
Fran has collaborated with the artistic director of THE WHAT WORKS, Imogen Butler-Cole, since Spring 2014.

Inspired by Cassandra, the Greek prophet damned never to be believed because she refused Apollo’s sexual advances, this ritual theatre piece addresses the voicelessness of women around sexual violence.
Having been awarded a small development grant to perform a scratch at Rich Mix as part of We Share in July 2014, they received further support to develop an R&D showing in October 2014, also supported by Rich Mix.
